Day 01: Arrive Cochin
On arrival our representatives will meet you and transfer to your pre booked hotel. Cochin is the riches historical and its setting on cluster of island. You can see the oldest church in India, 500 year old Portuguese houses and Chinese fishing net natural harbour created by the famed underwater Malabar mud-banks whose quality ensures that the rougher the seas are outside the calmer the waters are within the harbour. Vasco-de-Gama placed it on the world map. Evening enjoys Katthakali dance show - a popular & traditional art form of Kerala. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Cochin - Munnar (127 kms & 4 hrs)
Morning following breakfast proceeds for city tour of the beautiful city Cochin visiting Jewish synagogue, Portugues Churches, Chinese fishing nets etc. Later leave for Munnar - Munnar is one of the most naturally attractive hill-stations in South India. The word of "Munnar" means three rivers. 3 mountain streams Madurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala are joining together here. The previous, mainly in Devikulam Taluk of Idukki district, Munnar is usually known as the Kanan Devan hills or the High Ranges. The natural beauty, calmness and mild cold environment throughout the year makes it pleasant place for the stay for both Indian as well as foreigners. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Munnar
Morning following breakfast visit Mattupetty lake and dam, which is a very gorgeous picnic spot. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and fill up your soul with peace. Relax and feel the variation this cool atmosphere is bound to bring to you. You can enjoy boating in the lake (optional) and view the Mountains and landscapes from a far. Also visit Eravikulam National Park, a natural habitat of the rare mountain goat - Nilgiri Tahr and home of Aniamundi (2695m) the highest peak of South India. Also visit Tea Museum, one can fill their interest on different stages of tea processing, and also learn a thing or two about the production of black tea. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Munnar - Thekkady (106 kms & 3 hrs)
Following breakfast leave for Thekkady (Periyar), a beautiful drive through tea and spice plantations and blue hills. Periyar sprawled over an area of 777 sq. kms. Periyar is well-known for its Periyar National park. Upon arrival check into your hotel take rest. Later enjoy speedboat ride on Periyar Lake to see tiger, elephants, rare species of birds and mammals including Malabar Giant Squirrel, Nilgiri Langur, Barking Deer, Bison and the highly endangered tailed Macaque. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 05: Thekkady - Kumarakom (127 kms & 4 hrs)
Following breakfast leave towards to the shore and to the sweetly named town of Kumarakom on the banks of Vembandu Lake. Kumarakom is a world famous backwater destination. On arrival check into the hotel for overnight stay. Kumarakom generally known as the rice bowl of Kerala.
Day 06: Kumarakom - Alleppey (by Houseboat)
Morning board of the Kettuvallam - a distinctive Keralas houseboat towards to Alleppey - thru the Vembanadu Lake (famous backwaters of Kerala) and various narrow canals, as you cruise along the peaceful backwaters capture the glimpses of local existence of the people resident by the backwater, fishing etc. Overnight stay at houseboat.
Day 07: Arrive Alleppey - Cochin (63 kms &1hrs)
Following breakfast come ashore houseboat and drive back to Cochin airport in time to board flight for onward destination.
