Day 01: Arrive in Chennai
On arrival our representatives will meet you and transfer to your pre booked hotel. Chenni is also known as Madras the capital of Tamil Nadu a fourth largest city of Indi. The city grew up in the region of the English agreement of Fort Saint George and gradually engrossed the nearby villages & towns etc. Even though the strong British control, Chennai has hold on to its conventional Tamil Hindu culture and productively blend it with the foreign influence. Day 02: Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (120 kms & 4 hrs)
Morning following breakfast start to a guided city tour of Chennai visiting Fort St. George, Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral etc. Later depart for Mahabalipuram via Kanchipuram - One of the seven sacred cities of India, Kanchipuram is suitably called the golden city of thousand temples, the places as the capital of the Pallavas the commanding reign of south India. On arrival check into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (138 kms & 3hrs)
Morning following breakfast enjoy visiting the attractions of Mahabalipuram - a wonderful place lies on the Coromandel coast which faces the Bay of Bengal known for its Shore Temple and Arjunes Penance is the pride of not only Mahabalipuram and Tamilnadu visiting Shore Temples - One of the original structural temples in South India devoted to lord Shiva and Vishnu. Later drive to Pondicherry - on arrival check into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04: Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Tanjore (177 kms & 4 hrs)
Morning following breakfast visit Pondicherry the gorgeous city visiting Sri Aurobindo Ashram situated on rue de la Marine, is one of the most well known and wealthiest ashrams in India, with devotees from across the world flocking to it for spiritual salvation. Auroville - or the City of Dawn was conceived as a lay of research into the ideal of human unity by the Mother, the spiritual associate of Sri Aurobindo also visit the heritage buildings etc. Later drive to Tanjore via visiting Chidambaram - one of the most antique and most celebrated shrines in India. It is a great religious as well as historic and cultural significance, on arrival check into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Tanjore - Madurai (163 Kms)
Today after breakfast enjoy the city tour the town is famous for its typical art style, which is combination of raised and painted. Tanjore ia a relax town, which is worth visitingfor its world Heritage listed Brihadishwara temple and rambling complex. On arrival Madurai check in hotel for overnight stay
Day 06: Madurai
Today after breakfast enjoy the city tour. Madurai main attraction is the famous Sri Meenakshi Temple in the heart of old town , Mariamman Teppakkulam Tank and also visit Tirumalai Nayak Palace. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Madurai - Thekkady (160 kms & 4 hrs)
Today after breakfast drive to Thekkady (Periyar) is the south India popular wildlife sanctuary. It cover 777sq km, with a 26sq. km artificial lake created by British in 1895. Its home of antelopes, Samber, Wilde boar, Langur, Elephant and ofcourse Tiger. On arrival check in hotel take some rest. Later enjoy the boat ride at Parya lake to view the wildlife activities. Day 08: Thekkady - Kumarakom (127 kms & 4 hrs)
Today after breakfast enjoy walk thru the spice plantation. Later drive to Kumarakom
Day 09: Kumarakom - Alleppey (by Houseboat)
Today after breakfast enjoy the boat ride from Kumarakom to Alleppey thru the Vembanadu lake famous for Kerala back water and various narrow canals and capture the lifestyle of people and backwater. Overnight stay on houseboat.
Day 10: Arrive Alleppey - Cochin (63 kms & 1 hrs) and Departure
Today after breakfast check out from houseboat and drive to cochin and enjoy the City tour of Cochin visiting Portuguese-built St. Francis Church was constructed in 1503, the Jewish Synagogue, the famous Mattancherry Palace built by the Portguese in 1555 , and see the use of Chinese fishing nets-ingenious devices requiring little human attention. Later drive to airport in time to catch the flight for next destination. Tour End with sweet memories.
